Minibanker nær stasjonen, Suwan Apotek, videre togbilletter og praktiske forsyninger for Ban Krut.
Ban Krut is small. It does not have a bank branch, a post office or a large shopping mall. But it does have the basics: an ATM, a pharmacy, a 7-Eleven, a few small shops and accommodation staff who can usually help with tickets and transfers.

There is an ATM near the railway station area and some small shops are around the 7-Eleven store. It is strongly advised to bring sufficient Thai baht cash with you — most restaurants, market stalls and smaller guesthouses only accept cash. Card terminals are not guaranteed even in resorts. Withdraw extra before arriving from a larger town.

Suwan Pharmacy is located close to the railway station. Good for sunscreen, insect repellent, basic medicines, rehydration salts and toiletries. Outside pharmacy hours, the 7-Eleven stocks some basic health supplies.
Most accommodation can help you book onward train tickets (only 3 trains per day stop at Ban Krut) or arrange private transfers to Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon or ferry ports for the southern islands. Book onward train tickets as early as possible, especially for 1st and 2nd class on weekends.
Buy and register a Thai SIM at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport or at a large shopping mall on the way. Then just top up credit as needed in Ban Krut.
